Art Installations

During the past few years, due to the great work done by our resident local artist Rachelle Cleary and her group of IC Art Volunteers, the art in the area has expanded vastly to make the area a thriving place of Street Art.

Art Trail:

Starting at the the Marge & Steel roundabout walk down Liverpool Rd to meet the Cadwallas Family. From here we along Liverpool Rd, to the mural of Bridging the Gap.

Continuing on to Fir St. we turn the corner to find Bob’s Butcher Shop.  bob_the_butcher

When we come to the signs for Irlam Station, go past and under the bridges to see the railway art.

Doubling back follow the station sign through the underpass and up the steps to the station.

On the Liverpool bound platform we have again the mural of the area through the ages.

While waiting on the Manchester bound platform sits an old man, always welcome for the company and a chat.

And in the station house itself you will find the old station master himself.

While your here why not have a nice Coffee and a cake in the 1923 Cafe.
